Mini series of talks (3): Open Evening, 2 November 2021

The founding objectives of the RDA remain relevant today: friendship and understanding between nations is still vital. But how do we best continue to make the work of the Association relevant – not least for young people? What are the opportunities for art/civic/history/sports/music/language/other groups and organisations in Reading to engage with the RDA, and with partners in Düsseldorf?

Please join us to discuss this and contribute your thoughts.

The evening will begin with a brief reflection on the formation of the RDA; its founder, Phoebe Cusden; and the early years of the friendship. The panel will discuss what has been achieved over the years and what the RDA’s hopes are for the future, in collaboration with engaged local partners.
